G'day all! I know you've all been wondering about that status of our mane project, "Welcome to Ponyville." Well, we have good news about that. We've recently made some additions to our team that are going to help us make this game much more entertaining than the demo. We're hard at work on making improvements to the game. Currently, we are revamping the first act. It's coming along well and I'll give you guys more info as it develops.

Revamping? You mean it's going to be better than it already is? That's going to be very hard to do.
ReplyDeleteThe revamped Act 1 will probably include a voice for your own character like what was seen in a streaming session. Beyond that, it's anyone's guess. Personally I'd like to see an inventory system and a way to measure or check what your current relationship to any given character you've encountered is.
DeleteI'm not so big on the main character having a voice it'd be fine without in my opinion. One I would like to see that maybe a good idea is a quest log of some sorts. That way you could keep track of what quests you're currently doing, or if you have things to do in the future, etc. It could really help with organizing that.
DeleteYeah, I'm not sure if it would be a good call to give the main character a voice. Being able to just read the dialogue helps me with immersing myself into the story, personally.
DeleteAye, i think we all would rather the pony that's supposed to be us, NOT have a voice that's not our own, especially when reading it aloud.(like during lets plays or something.)

DeleteRevamping the first act? Sounds good. As for BronyCon, I wish it was still in New York. (Seriously wasn't it stylized BroNY Con?) But it should be a good time.
ReplyDeleteSince your revamping the 1st Act, could you guys also revamp the Vinyl encounter, add a choice, so that someone like me would be ecstatic with her showing up, and would enjoy her company, rather than be rude and uninterested.
